Our job is to get radio airplay for artists on Top 40/AC/Hot AC stations around the country. We send out the artist’s CD and call music directors and program directors of over 150 stations nationwide in order to help our artists get airplay. Our goal is to help artists further their musical careers through radio airplay, thus increasing sales on iTunes, cdbaby, and moving their single up on the national music charts in order to help create interest with a major label.

Our work begins before the music hits the music directors and program directors’ desk. We start by notifying radio stations that a new release is in the works, creating a buzz so that the music directors and program directors are anticipating receiving the music. We tell them about the artist, the music, and which part of their listening audience might find this particular song appealing. We then personally call 150 radio stations and talk to the music directors and program directors to first get the song added then to increase spins each week in order to increase exposure of the artist.

Each week we keep the artist updated with a report that outlines in detail how the stations are responding to the CD, which stations are testing it, which ones have added it to their playlist, how many times it is being played each week, what type of phone calls the station is receiving about the single, and what type of comments listeners are making. We pride ourselves on making our clients feel comfortable contacting us at any point during the campaign to discuss the single or receive updates.
